BIG NEWS!

This is something I haven't talked about before on this little blog, but, for a hobby I make and sell cards. It isn't to many people, and I haven't really told anyone about it apart from my close family. But a couple of months ago, I went to a place called the Sunrise, this is a care home and my mum's friend has something to do with it, and hooked me up to go there one afternoon and sell cards to the cute old people ;)

My Mum's other friend works as a photographer for the card suppler, DoCrafts. She saw some of the cards I made and told her boss. A couple of weeks later I was given a big box of Do Craft items and was told to make some cards and give them to the company and one of my designs might be in one of their magazines!

Unfortunately my designs weren't put in ( :( sad face) BUT yesterday my mum saw both of her friends and they were talking about my cards and...

Do Crafts want to do an article on me selling at the care home.

I'm not sure about anything else, that was all the details I was told but as soon as I know when I will be in a magazine, then you will be the third to know! (Well, obviously my parents and then my close family, then my friends* THEN you :) )

Product's I have used up! #1

I have gone through a lot of things recently! Such as Shampoo and Conditioner to nail vanish and hair clips! But I thought I'd share with you, some that you might find interesting! I might make this a monthly segment and share a few things that I have used up throughout the month. 

1. Batiste dry shampoo in fruity & cheeky cherry!

I want to say I use this product a lot but that makes me sound like a  that doesn't wash my hair! So what I mean is that I use this when I haven't washed my hair that morning.

This product is really refreshing and makes my hair smell really nice and soft. The product is quite cheap for what it is worth.

2. Simple Kind to eyes Eye Make Up Remover

I found myself using this product A LOT! So much, that I have another empty bottle in my little sack of empties!

I have bought another product (coming up soon) that I have used instead of this to try and stop myself from using it so much, my I couldn't stop myself getting a mini bottle for smaller mistakes! I love this product so much. It has never given me irritation with my eyes and hasn't left them feeling oily or dirty. 

3. Simple kind to skin Cleansing Facial Wipes

As I said before I used to use the eye make up remover but that was used quite quickly. Now I use these wipes and I don't use them as often. It comes with 25 wipes and I have used up about 1 and 1/2 over 2 months, whereas I was using 2 a month with the remover. This product is great for all skin types. As a brand, Simple is better for sensitive skin but I have normal skin and it works just as well!

  

I was always told by people like Tanya Burr, Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter, that using wipes isn't as good for your skin, and I agree with them, but I find that if I use this, then my cleanser and toner and my moisturizer, then my skin feels better and more refreshed. Obviously use whatever you find best for your skin but I find this works well! 

4.  Nivea Hydro-care Lip Balm

This Lip Balm, is AMAZING! I have repurchased this product because I love it so much, I also go the Pearly Shine addition too! If I pair both of them together, then my lips feel so nourished and look really nice. The Nivea Hydro-Care was a present from my friend Ambs, two Christmas's ago and It took me a year to use it up, and I was using it daily. So they do last a long time. These retail at £1.99 in Superdrug and the same in Boots. I have heard that this is like the Baby Lips in quenched but I haven't really tested the difference. 

5. So... Kiss me? Body spray

This influenced me to make this post. I love this scent, and if you have it at home then I hope you use it and if you don't then either get it, or smell it in a shop near you. It's quite a strong scent and it's very particular. I was given a bag of the So... Kiss me products, this included a body fragrance, a perfume and a body lotion. I didn't use the body lotion, so I gave it to a friend. I kept the perfume and it is half used up, and obviously I have used up the body fragrance.

Sowwieeee

Heey guys,

You might have noticed that I went back to school last week, and because of that I will be getting busier! And by that I mean that I may not have as much time as I would like to have to do more creative things like my blog post!
I'm in no means saying that I will stop but I am saying that my blog posts may become irregular of less frequent.

I obviously will try to post at least twice a week instead of 3 times but I think that twice is better than never! My school work does come before this blog or though I ashore you, I wish it didn't!

Anyway, sorry I didn't film a video this weekend but I did get together a couple of things for next week maybe? I'm not sure, my camera is REALLY BAD so I normally have to get pictures off of the inter-web but hopefully I won't be orange in my video, as I have been before! Have you got any tips on video making or editing? If so, please leave a comment on what you do or any tips you have!

Also, I just wanted to ask, did you like my last post? I thought I would make homework more fun and make a blog post at the same time! If you were wondering, this year in textiles we are making: DECORATIVE WAISTCOATS!?!?!?!?!?

I don't even want to ask why.

Trends

Okay, so for my textiles homework, I had to find out what the Autumn/Winter trends are. I was so happy to hear that this Autumn:

1. Dusky Pink
2. Over - sized jumpers
3. Dark coloured satchels
4. Mi - di skirts
5. High Shine in your clothes
6. Leather
7. Animal prints
8. Dark floral
9. Cameo print

I love almost all of these, maybe not the High Shine clothes or the leather but everything else is OK! If you won't like one you can always chose another.

I might not like the big jackets that are 5 sizes to big for the models, but I just want to take this opportunity to say, where what YOU want not what you are expected to! I'm not the most trendy person and I often follow the trends when they're done because I'll be the only one wearing it! It's good to be creative and not be a follower, but a leader!
      We all have different personalities, some people will agree with me but other's might feel safer in the clothes, you know you won't be judged in. That's fine too. Don't listen to people who might laugh at what you wear but don't listen to me either! YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO DECIDES YOU!

Sorry that got a bit deep and crazy but I promise I will try and upload a post AND  a new YouTube video at the weekend!

First Day

Hi guys

 So today I had my 'First Day Back To School' I'm only saying that because I went to school today...FOR 2 HOURS! It's ridiculous!
But at least I got to see all of my friends, including Charlie, Zoe and Ambs!
                BTW I convinced Zoe and Ambs to get a blog so go check them out!

 We went to school to get our planners, more commonly know as homework organizers, and to go through our timetable and what I call 'Terms and Conditions' of school! It was really fun to meet Charlie again and we have some exciting plans for our blog together: Beauty Tips and Fashion Tricks
Go and subscribe to that blog so you can see what we have in store for all you lovelies! But apart from that, today was the start of Year 9,  what I think is going to be a really hard year!

 Not only because I have to study hard and take notes more because of GCSE options, and not only because I am having all new teachers, or the fact that I have to concentrate on work rather than the new boy on the bus but because I HAVE TO CLIMB 4 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS EVERYDAY TO GET TO MY BEEPING FORM ROOM! We are on the top floor this year and as I got reminded today, heat rises, so that's going to be fun!

 I am excited for school though, because I get to choose what I want to do for GCSE and I get to do it with all of my friends. However I am pleased that I can now say I am one step closer to leaving school and going out to the big world (not before Uni though!).

 That's it from me today, if you want to know, tomorrow I have all new teachers and I have R.S, Science, French, English and Drama (which I am most excited about).

Just a little catch up!

Sorry I haven't been blogging recently, a lot of things has been happening.
First off all on the 27th of August, I have my birthday. But on the Friday before my birthday, I had my party with some off my close friends. They stayed for a sleepover so I didn't write anything on the Saturday because I spent the day with them. Then on the Sunday I was really tired for the sleepover, so I basically slept all day.

On the Monday, my family came round to celebrate my birthday and we had a really nice lunch/dinner where my Mum made a HUGE buffet with things like potato salad and quiches. So I didn't have anytime to post because I was helping cook in the morning and (I'm not going to lie to you) I played with my new presents!

Then on Tuesday, was my actual birthday and I went to the beach with my friend who stayed the night the day before. So I obviously didn't blog then (even though that isn't a day I blog)!
But as a birthday treat, my Mum and I went to London on the Thursday and Friday, so on the Wednesday I was packing. Then when I was in London I didn't have any wifi, and I had no time at all to blog. Even on the train I was busy!

After coming back from London, I was extremely tired, but I did find time to see my friends, otherwise, again, sleeping!

On Monday I was with my friends and then TODAY I WENT TO THE CINEMA TO SEE THE NEW ONE DIRECTION MOVIE: THIS IS US!!!

My next post will be all about my time in the cinema, with reviews on the film and do's/don't of what to do in the cinema! - so stay tuned for that!

But tomorrow I go back to school so my posting will go down a bit because of homework and stuff but I will try my hardest to post. A good thing about going back to school this year, is that I will get to see my good friend CHARLIEEEEEEE who I haven't seen for about 2 weeks now!
