My Winter Essentials!

Heey,

I am really pee-ed off at the moment because I spent about 2 days writing a really good post about all of my Winter Essentials (with pictures) and I refreshed the page and....GONE. I have no idea how and I was so close to crying because that's how long I spent on it! Moral of the story, always make a copy of your posts so if something like this happens then you don't have to start crying. Anyway...

As the air is getting colder and England is slowly turning into ice, there are a few things that are essential for this season. I love Winter, personally it's my favorite time of year and Christmas is better than my birthday!

1) Lip Scrubs

As the air gets colder, your skin will get dryer. There's nothing you can do to stop that, but you can help it from getting really bad, during Winter. Your lips are one of the softest parts of your skin so in Winter your lips can get cold, flaky and chapped just like in Summer you can burn your lips! I use my LUSH Lip scrub at all times in the year but especially in Winter because it gets rid of dead skin cells and adds moisture to your lips, which is exactly what you need. The flavor I have is called Popcorn and it does have a slight feel of popcorn to it, but not 100%. I would still recommend it to anyone though.

2) Cosy Socks

I have countless pairs of cosy socks and the great thing about them is that you can wear them all day long. In fact, I'm wearing some right now! I sometimes wear them to bed because I forget to take them off before I sleep! Socks are very inexpensive and I know you can get different types, slipper socks etc. but they are all around the same price. Mine at the moment are from Sainsbury's and I find that they keep my feet really warm!

3) Hand Cream

As I said earlier your skin gets very cold and dry during the Winter so it's important to keep them as moisturized as possible. We've already covered lips but hands are important too.  Taking care of your hands is one of the most important things because we use them all of the time! I use The Body Shop Almond Oil Hand & Nail cream and I find that this not only smells nice, but keeps my hands soft and hydrated.

4) A good book/film

Bit random...I know, but I think that everyone needs a book or film you can watch/read in bed or snuggled up by the TV in blankets and pillows. I am STILL reading Harry Potter and it's such a great book to read, all year round. But I've also been sucked back into the world of fan-fictions are there is one that I have been reading non-stop It's called 'After' It's a trilogy and an amazing story of Tessa Young and Harry Styles. The way the author writes is really good and I find my self screaming with anger at there stupid fights or feeling really emotions because they got back together. I won't give anymore away, just read it.

5) Warm Jumper

Very self explanatory, to keep you warm plus it looks cute. I have 3 woolen jumpers, 2 quite plain and then a cropped navy one with the word 'love' written across it and all of them are easy to wear and very warm. In fact, I'm wearing one right now :) Whether you're popping to the shops or going to the cinema, you can always wear a warm, cosy jumper. I would suggest getting ones from Primark and then a few for somewhere like New Look or H&M, all 3 are cheap but the second and 3rd a bit more expensive and a bit higher in quality.

6) Candles

I love candles and if I was allowed to, then I would have them burning in every room because I love the smell of them. There are a few that aren't to my taste and/or yours, but there's a candle somewhere that you will like. When I'm having a bath I find it really relaxing to have candles surrounding the bath. I have quite a few candles in my house and they mostly are vanilla scented because that's the small my Mum likes, but I bought one for my self and it's a warm cherry scent, I love it so much. They can be quite expensive from brands like Yankee Candles but then I got mine for £1.30ish in my local supermarket.

7) Bath Bombs

I'm surprised that this isn't at the top of my list, because I am obsessed with bath bombs and especially LUSH, the main bath bomb shop. I love them so much, obviously in the bath but I keep them in my room because you shouldn't really keep them in the bathroom but I also keep them in my room because as soon as I get half way up the stairs you can smell them and I personally love the smell of bath bombs and just LUSH in general. I would defiantly say to find one that you like, just like the candles, not everyone likes every scent, so just go for what you like, my favourite LUSH bomb at the moment is Lord of Misrule and you will see a review on my second blog soon :)

8) Hats and Scarfs

Again an obvious choice for Winter but I though I should put it in her anyway. I have mentioned in another post that I want a woolly hat from New Look and I still want it, but because it isn't just for Christmas, I'm getting it in the sales after Christmas. I don't really have any thick scarfs and again I really want one in the sales but what I do want soon, is a snood.  It sounds ridicules but my friend Zoe has one and secretly I'm jealous every time she wears it ;)

9) Winter Coat

I'm not sure if this is my exact one

Everyone needs a coat (obviously) and during Winter I do get one that may be more expensive because it's needed more than in the Summer. I have one from Primark this year ( I know not very expensive) but it was £25 and it's a fake parka. I love my coat, the hood is massive and very soft/fluffy. There are a few pockets and if I was going to say anything bad about it, then I would say that the golden zips on the pockets hurt when I put my hands into them. But other than that I really love this coat.

10) YOUR CHOICE

Tell me in the comments what you think is a Winter essential?

Thank you for reading, sorry for not being on here for a while and I really need you to say what you want for the 1000 pageviews/Christmas giveaway!

Present Idea's - Boots

Heey,

I know that this wasn't meant to go up today but my post was deleted and I've been trying to write it again but I haven't finished it in time.

Don't worry, this isn't another series that I'm starting, I just wanted to share a couple of present idea's that I had but I saw that a lot of them are from Boots and I thought I could show you! I've seen a few bloggers and youtubers do this type of post/video and I found them really useful! At the moment Boots have a 3 for 2 Mix and match offer on all of their products so now's a great time so go buying on boots :D

£10 and under

When it comes friends at Christmas and Birthday's I spend around £10 on them. So I have a quite a few things for this category (:

1) So...? Scentsational  -  £7

This includes Kiss Me, Sinful, Exclusive and Sexy Body fragrances, all 50ml.

I would love this as a gift because I personally love the So...? Range and they're all mini's so it would be great for sleepovers.

2) Simple Mini Collection   -  £4.50

Facial wash, facial toner and light moisuriser, all 50ml.

I think this is amazing value for money and would be so happy with a gift like this. Again these are all mini's so perfect for sleepover's.

3) Soap & Glory Bright and Bubbly Fruitigo Mini Hatbox   -  £10

Foam Call 75ml, Butter Yourself body cream, Pulp Friction body scrub and Endless Glove hand mask, all 50ml, plus sudsy shower puff (100% polyethylene)

This is a big gift. I know that it's great value for money because Sap & Glory can be quite expensive, but this gift set is reasonably priced, at £10.

4) Soap & Glory Good, Butter, Best   -  £8

Sugar Crush, The Righteous Butter and Butter Yourself body butters, all 50ml.

Another great Soap & Glory set, I personally am not the body butter type, but I know some people who  LOVE them. If I was given this I would be pleased because Soap & Glory might just turn me from a not-so-buttery person to a body butter queen!

5) Boutique Compact Mirror   -  £6

I know that this is a bit of a weird one to chose, but I am always looking for a nice compact mirror to have for my school blazer or handbag.

6) Champneys Spa Hand care Kit   -  £10

Hand wash and hand lotion, both 250ml.

My Mum was given this present either last Christmas or for her birthday and It's in our kitchen at the moment. I use this if I'm by the kitchen sink because It's there. I wouldn't want this for me but it can be a great gift for someone older (like my Mum)

7) Ted Baker Lovely Lindy Hop   -  £8

Nail Polish 9ml and lipgloss 7ml in Plum

Ted Baker is really nice brand for little things because they do really nice small sets like this where you can get a nail polish and lipgloss in Autumnal colours for £8! I would love this as a gift!

8) Laura Ashley Relaxing Bath Crystals   -  £6

Fragranced bath crystals sachet 150g.

Another great gift. I think that Laura Ashley can be quite expensive so £6 for their bath crystals is great! I have been in store to smell this and it's so nice!

9) Vintage Collection Perpetual Calendar   - £10

If you don't know what this is, basically, it's a calendar but the number's and month are both block and everyday you have to change the number blocks, so it's the correct date. Very impracticable if you want to write down something on the calendar but if you can get over that then this is a really cute, vintage girl for someone. Again mu Mum has one of these in the hall and it's really cute :)

10) Cute Or What Dotty For Socks   -  £8

One size (100% acrylic)

Cute or what? These socks are so cute (red and white spotty) for £8 that's so good, they look really warm and cosy and this would be a great gift for a younger sister or maybe a friend.

That's all for today, please comment if you liked this post and would like more but have a bigger price range, or different shop?

Thanks for reading, BTW please go and check out Zoe's blog, she has just gone past 700 pageviews and I'm really proud of her, let's get it to 1000 :D

My Night Routine

Heey,

(Sorry it's 1 day late, it was supposed to be scheduled)

So as it's getting into winter and England is getting colder by the second, I think it's the best time to do a nightly routine for you. My skin has been getting dryer and I my comfy-ness level has defiantly gone up! BTW I went a bit picture crazy, there's even one of my shower (??!!?). Help me.

So I normally am on my laptop from 8pm-10pm but before that I get changed into my warm, red jumper and my blue, rolled up joggers. This outfit is really comfy and warm, great for Autumn/Winter.

Then I'm on my laptop and this can include watching YouTube video's, writing blog post, skyping Zoe or even on social media websites (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr.). I sit in my bed and do this because my bed is really soft, it's near the light and I can flop over and go to sleep whenever I like! But if I have homework to do that, I might listen to music before I move over to the comfort station ;)

After my laptop time I go and have either a shower at 9pm or if I don't need a shower, at 10pm I go to my bathroom and start my skin routine.

I start by washing my face with a wet flannel, this is really refreshing and gets all of the noticeable dirt off my face. Then after drying it, I move onto cleanser. I use Superdrug's own Calming Cleanser and it's very cheap but great for my skin. It leaves me feeling soft and refreshed. I rub this into my skin using  a weird sponge on a stick type thing, that my Mum gave me.

While my cleanser is 'working it's magic' I brush my teeth. If you want to know, I use a Spongebob toothpaste, because I'm a child at heart...plus it's bubblegum flavor and I hate mint.

Then using the same flannel as earlier, I don't add anymore water, but I do dab at my face so that the excess cleanser come off. Then I put on my moisturizer. I use the Simply Pure, Moisturizing lotion, but I really want the Simple moisturizer, Amber has done quite a few posts on Simple products and you get see her daily face routine HERE.

Then I leave that on for a bit and again, pat my face with a damp flannel and I'm done for my skin routine.

But, if it is a Wednesday or Sunday, then I use a deep cleansing face mask by Simple before I apply the moisturizer and leave that on for 3 mins and during that time, I might brush my teeth or tidy my room. I don't use my normal cleanser when I'm using my face mask. Then after 3 mins, I wash it off completely and moisturize my skin.

After my skin routine I get into bed, set my alarm and read as much as I can in 15 mins (I'm a slow reader, ask anyone) then put on my audio book (Harry Potter) then turn off my lamp and go to bed.

That is my night routine.

Thank you for reading. Tell me in the comments what your favorite thing to do before going to bed is.

Hugs and kisses

I went shopping...

Heey,
Today Zoe and I went shopping, mainly in LUSH and I bought altogether I bought 9 items, 3 of which are for Zoe's Christmas present and 3 are for November and 3 are for my LUSH Christmas challenge, I have talked about this on my latest post on my other blog.

I haven'y used any of these and it's hard to describe what they all smell like and I don't know how they really react in my bath until I use them (my other blog is where I share my baths) so i'm just going to show you what LUSH say on their website and what I like about it. Also I have wrapped all of the products in cling film because this helps keep the products fresher for longer.

1) Christmas Eve  - Bubble Bar

LUSH: This bubble bar was invented for those times when you are getting ready for a big event. Sock ina bath and relax in mountains of bubbles and rise with a hint of sensual jasmine fragrance lingering on your body.Irish moss powder in this bar ensures that your skin feels smooth and soft whilst the essential oils will relax you and leave your mind and body calm and soothed.

I am really excited for using this because I looks really nice and the colours blend nicely. The yellow against the blue is meant to represent the moon against the night sky and I think that's really creative.I am using this on Christmas Eve because, who wouldn't?

2) Lord of Misrule - Bath Ballistic

LUSH: This bath bomb, named after the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, has a strange and magnificent fragrance created by Gorilla Perfumer Simon Constantine. This bomb will slowly dissolve to reveal a wine coloured center, with the added sweetness of the world’s first fair trade vanilla absolute, perfectly balanced by the earthy scents of black pepper and patchouli oil.

I am in love with this bath ballistic before I have even used it. In store they showed what it does and the core is a beautiful pinky colour. The bath bomb fizzes away quite slowly but I like that because it means you get more for your money. When the pink finally comes out, the green and pink swirl together and it looks magical.

3) Space Girl - Bath Bomb

LUSH: Of course, if we were making an interstellar ballistic we had to put space dust in it (otherwise known as popping candy). So make sure you plunge your head underwater if you want to hear the full effects of the crackles and pops.

I am really excited to use this tonight, The shape is really interesting and meant to look like a spaceship. I hope that the popping candy is really pop-y ;).

4) Father Christmas - Bath Ballistic

LUSH: Ho, ho, ho! Father Christmas is back and this year he's a delicate pinky white.
A bath that gives you all the colours and smells of Christmas, with mandarin oil and orange flower absolute. Father Christmas is a bit of a secret Santa who modestly hides his hidden talents..

The reason I picked up this bath ballistic is because he looked really weird, but once I had smelt him, he was in my basket... literally. He is a bit citrus-y but I like that. His beard and white features, fizz away and turn into bubbles, this makes me even more excited to try Father Christmas!

5) Luxury Lush Pud - Bath Ballistic

LUSH: This year, our Lil' Lush Pud has had a luxurious makeover... with a soothing lavender fragrance and calming pastel colours, this bath bomb is perfect for bed time, or any time you want to relax.

There are so many things to say about this this bath bomb, the first being colourful! There are 8+ colours in this bath ballistic and that's only on the outside! It smells AMAZING. Zoe thinks that it smells like Vanilla but not very sweet but it is quite strong.

6) Ickle Baby Bot - Bath Bomb

LUSH: All the essential oils in this ballistic have been selected for being soothing and calming for baby. Not only does this contain sleep-inducing oils, but everything has been selected to be mild, gentle and soothing for skin and any itchy bits.

I'm not quite sure what LUSH meant in that description but I would say that the reason I bought him was because he looked so cute! I think that Ickle Baby Bot isn't very strong, scent wise, but it would be great for kids or if you think that some of the LUSH smells are a bit overwhelming.

7, 8 & 9) Rose Jam bubbleroon, Twilight and Lord of Misrule.

I have Lord of Misrule and done a post on Twilight (2nd blog) but I don't know what Rose Jam is like. Those 3 are for Zoe as her Christmas present. I don't want to open them so I can't say what Rose Jam is like and I can't remember what Twilight was either.

Thank you for reading, this was just a cheeky upload but I thought you would like to know what I bought today, the total of my LUSH shop was £27.15, which I think was OK for 9 products and that included a present.

Comment if you have tried any of these products :)

Hugs and kisses

My Favorite Scents

Heey,

I love perfume and smelling like sugar and spice and all things nice, so this post is suited to me. I have a struggle in the morning when I have to decide what body spray or perfume I am going to wear. So I created a system, I have written down the names of my top 4 perfumes and I pick the piece of paper out of my little container thing and what ever I pick out is the perfume I will be wearing.

I thought I'd share with you the 4 perfumes I have been wearing recently (:

1) Taylor by Taylor Swift.

I love the bottle and packaging of this perfume. I have the 30ml and it was £22.50 in the perfume shop, when I bought this in London at the end of August. The words that describe this on the website are:

Magnetic   Spirited    Modern.

I think you can wear this most days but especially the day were you might be doing something a bit more fancy. You might notice that all of these scents are quite fruity or warm smelling.

2) Impulse - Into Glamour

This body fragrance is very fruity and sophisticated. Its' a blend of oriental scents and citrus notes. I would take this with me to a sleepover or wear this on a day I just want to smell fresh and fruity (which is everyday for me). I have worn this so school and it lasted until my lunch so I would say this it stays on for about 3 hours. But you can get Impulse in small bottles which means you could take something like this to school and top up during the day, or even keep it in your handbag.

3) Butterfly - M&S

Don't be put off by the fact that this is from M&S o the fact that it is limited collection. I love this scent and the company describes this as fruity, fresh and fun with a sophisticated but not too serious twist. Fresh green notes of fruity apple, watery cucumber and zesty grapefruit drift in to a smooth and delicate magnolia flowers, rose and violet scents which are followed by rich base aromas of musk and amber. Fresh and feminine with a playful innocence.

This describes it perfectly.

I would wear this on a day-to-day basis and to parties. The scent is quite young and you definatly wouldn't smell this on an old lady. I believe this was £12.50 but I'm not sure, get this soon if it haven't already because it's limited edition.

4) Ice Musk - Natural Collection Boots

I have talked about this in quite a few posts, but this is a body spray from Boots. I go it not long ago and I got it for £1.33 because it was on a deal for 3 for 2 and Zoe and Amber ( who I was with ) both got one too. I love the smell of this because it reminds me of winer and that's a smell I want to be?!?!?!

It doesn't stay on for ages but this bottle is small enough to have in your locker or maybe your handbag, if you don't have enough room then you can get little capsules called travelo's or something like that and you can put in the perfume you wear wearing and carry it around on your keychain.

You can wear this (again) everyday but it's not a summer scent as the other ones are, I would say this is defiantly an autumn.winter smell.

Thank you for reading, comment what you are wearing most this season

Hugs and kisses

Collection: Real techniques

Heey,

I was asked by my Mum what I wanted for Christmas and everything is LUSH or beauty related. I asked for a few Real Techniques brushes, but I thought that I actually have a good collection, so I thought I'd show you (:

All the brushes are extremely soft and easy to use, they look professional and are easy to buy from any good supermarket or beauty shop. The brushes I own range from £8.99 - £21.99. I bought 2 of my brushes with my own money and asked for the rest for my birthday. I was very lucky to get them and I am in no way bragging.

1) Blush Brush £9.99

The first R.T brush I ever had was the Blush Brush for £9.99. I bought this myself and I was very pleased with it. At the time I didn't wear much make up, but I have enough to have an expensive brush (if that makes sense) I love this brush because it is hand-cut to contour and define cheeks for flawlessly blended, high definition results. I used this brush for blush, bronzer and powder but now I mainly use it for the first 2. I would recommend this brush as a 'starter brush'.

2) Expert face brush £9.99

This was a present from my birthday from my grandparents. This is a foundation brush but I think you could use it for any liquid make up, this could be liquid blush or cream bronzer, to the standard foundation and concealer. The E.F brush is ultra firm and broad for application and blending of cream or liquid foundation. I would diffidently say this is the best foundation brush I know of/have. It doesn't look streaky when you apply it on the skin, it can make any foundation look pixel perfect even in harsh lights. I wouldn't say this was a starter brush but great for someone who wore make up quite often.

3) Stippling brush £11.99

I bought the Stippling brush with my own money after my birthday. I love this brush SO much! If I am wearing foundation I have to blend it in with this brush. The dual-fiber stippling brush is the trade secret for creating airbrushed, high definition results with all types of make up. So this means you can use the brush to apply or blend almost all skin products. Teamed with the E.F brush you can create a flawless base for your make up.

4) Setting brush £8.99

This was a present from my birthday from my grandparents. This is a mini powder brush, in it's basic form. This brush is amazing for applying powder to anywhere on your face. I mainly use it for down my nose and under my eye's because if I'm having a good skin day then I don't want to wear too much powder or my face could look cake-y. The micro setting brush is the key to completing any look with a controlled dusting of powder or highlighter. I also used this for contouring the nose when I did my friend's make up the other day because this is a great way of making your nose look slimmer.

5) Starter Set £21.99

This was a present from my birthday from my grandparents. I was so happy when I unwrapped this. It includes 5 brushes:

  • Base Shadow Brush - applies a smooth, flawless foundation of colour
  • Deluxe Crease Brush - soft oversized design for effortless contouring
  • Accent Brush - designed for precision detailing, spotlighting, highlighting and smudging
  • Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush - tapered cut is ideal for dense or fine eyeliner application
  • Brow Brush - distinctive shape easily defines eyebrows
It also comes with a Panoramic Case  - dual carrier and stand keeps brushes organized on your counter or on the go. I use the case to carry all of my brushes when I go to a friends house or on holiday, as it has 3 extra bands that you can use for other brushes.

This set is amazing. As you could probably tell, they are basically all eye brushes. However there is one brush (Deluxe Crease Brush) which can be used for either blending out the crease or used for blending concealer. If you watch people like Zoella, Tanya Burr or Sprinkle Of Glitter, when they blend their concealer, 9/10 times, they use this brush.

All together I have 9 brushes. I think this is quite a lot considering the fact that all together I have £62.95 worth or real techniques brushes.

Thanks for reading, what collection should I do next? Comment what you think!

Another One!

Heey,

Every week I have a pamper night, were I put on a face mask and light some candle and have a bath.

Each time I have a bath, I always use a LUSH product, that could be a bath bomb or Bubble bar or anything like that.

I don't want to take up a whole post on this blog so I have now created a new one called:

Little Bit of LUSH

I will do nothing but reviews on LUSH products and also little things like wishlists or mini hauls. I will obviously still do this blog, twice a week, but I now have my other one dedicated to LBL.

Please go and subscribe to this and my my other blog, I have some really good posts coming up soon so you should look forward to those.

Question: should I still do LUSH hauls on this blog or just on the other one? Comment what you think!

YouTube Ideas

Heey,

I've had a few ideas for YouTube videos but I'm not sure I want to make one yet. I have a list of ideas but I'm not sure which one is best. I'd thought I would share these ideas with you in case you were stuck for ideas or wanted any inspiration.

1) Empties Video
I've done a post about this but I wanted to do a video so I can explain in more depth. This is an easy video to do because you will have a definite opinion on the products.

2) MUA face
This can be changed to suit you according to your favourite makeup brand. I really like MUA and have a lot of their products so I can do a whole makeup face using MUA.

3) Outfit Of The Day (OOTD)
This is a simple video because it is just about what you're wearing. You will need pictures of the outfit and briefly talk about it.

4)Back to school haul
This can only really be done at certain points in the year but if you get ahead of the game you can 'collecting' for your video. I love watching these because it is very informative and I love stationary.

5)What's on my iPod?
I got this idea from a youtuber I watch. She did a 'what's on my iPhone' so I adapted it to suit me. My iPod broke so I can't do this anymore. This video is great for a littler review of some of your favourite apps, music and pictures.

6)Monthly Favourites
A very easy video. A good idea for this is to, at the beginning of the month, take note of what you love because I have found sometimes it can be hard to remember.

7)Bathroom Tour
This can be with any room but I find bathroom tours more interesting because I love seeing ideas of how to organise your bathroom.

8)Shopping Haul
This is quite self explanatory but you can show people what you have brought and why you brought it and why you are excited to use it.

9)How to...
these videos are funny and informative. I watch these because I'm not the best at stuff and these are very basic for me (HELP ME)

10)(50)things about me
This can be any number, 50, 20, 10, 30. But, without giving away too much information, just give a list of bullet points about you.

Thank you for reading, go check out my friends blog, Amber

Hugs and kisses,
Liv xoxo

Happy Days #1

Heey,

I was meant to do a OOTWeek today but I couldn't get the pictures in time and I spent today with my best friends and today just made me so happy because I had a great time shopping and I went to LUSH so a mini haul will be included it that and well, you'll see...

Last night Zoe came round for a sleepover and we watched X Factor and Downton Abbey (my favourite shows).

When we woke up, Zoe and I spend about 10mins in the kitchen trying to make pancakes, Amber came to the rescue and helped us make Canadian Pancakes. After Zoe and I got dressed and we all ate our pancakes, we made our way to my Mum's shop to collect some leaflets we were going to deliver. We walked for about a mile delivering these leaflets, then another 3 miles delivering some more. It took us almost 2 hours for the 3 of us to walk 4 miles +.

We were paid £10 each which made us very happy indeed.

We finished our delivering spree at my house then luckly caught the bus into town where we were going to go shopping, but mainly, we had vouchers for a benefit make up lesson. We got to benefit and were going to have a lesson but they were booked for today, instead we are now booked for next week. We went to The Body Shop however, and got a mini makeover for free. I had my face 'done' using an all in one powder and blush but she also put some lipstick on me. I think  the shade was 200. Afterwards we went to verious beauty shops and Subway.

On the way back from Subway I saw something that tickled Zoe and I, so much I was doubled up in laughter. Zoe dropped her handbag and I had my eyes closed for some reason and we were going downhill. Zoe went to pick up her handbag but because I didn't see where I was going, I tripped on her shoe and, you guessed it, fell over in front of THE ENTIRE STREET!!!

Quite a few people stopped, stared and laughed. It would have been embarrassing but I was still laughing.
Help me.

After that little incident we went into Primark and looked around there, wore some incredibly high heels and got terrified by Amber jumping in the lift. To finish off the day we went to LUSH were we spent about half an hour picking bath bombs we wanted. I love going into LUSH because I can stomach the smell and also the people in there are as nice as the products themselves. When I'm older I want to work in LUSH.

I bought 2 things the first was Bomardino and the second was Candy Mountain. I have been wanting these for a while but didn't have any money, but with the £10 I earnt earlier, I was able to afford them, almost all of them, I tried paying for a different one afterward but on my card and it got (embarrassingly) declined :( next time I will be buying Golden Wonder and Shoot for the Stars.

Thanks for reading comment what you want to be when your older?

When I was Harry

Heey,

Happy  late Halloween! This year I  finally went trick or treating for what seems to be, the first time in my life! I'm really exciting to be going with my friend Zoe (another one) and this year I am going as Harry (freaking) Potter.

I think this is quite safe for my first time and I think that even though I am a girl, it works. I was going to go as Hermione but then thought that it would take too long to tease my hair ;) so I thought that with the scar and the glasses it might be easy to do!

Step One: Choose your character

I went easy and picked Harry Potter because his scar and glasses are easily noticed and the glasses are optional but I think that no Harry Potter costume is complete without a drawn on scar!

Step Two: Find your outfit!

I didn't want to waste my money on a cloak so I just wore an all black outfit but you can change this to suit you. I wore black leggings and a black tank top with a sheer black Topshop top over the top (lets say top one more time ;) ) you can change the black tank top to a coloured one but you would change it to a house coloured one!

Step Three: ACCESSORIZE

I spend £10.50 on the accessorizes but I can use them over and over again! I bought a wand and glasses set from my local costume shop but then went to Tesco and bought a hat and broomstick. The set was £8.99, the broom was £1.00 and the hat was 50p.

I left the broom and hat at Zoe's because we went to town after and I didn't want everyone to stare at me!

Step Four: Finishing touches

Eyeliner + scar on your forehead  = INSTANT HARRY POTTER

I also wore my 'No Clumps' mascara from Collection 2000 and my Satin Bow lipstick, also from Collection 2000!

That's it for today, hope you liked it. I did take some pictures with my friend but it's on her phone and I can't get them because it was snapchat :(

Anyway, thank you for reading and I hope you have/had a nice day, please subscribe and comment what you went as for Halloween

Hugs and kisses

October Faves!

Heey,

It doesn't seem that long ago when I did my September favorites, but I have been loving a few things this month and I wanted to share these with you.

Fashion

I went to Primark a few times (too many to count) an I only bought clothes for myself once...with my mum...
But I have been wearing 2 items of clothing A LOT this month.

The first is my Winter coat. I love this coat because it is very cosy and the hood is amazingly soft! I didn't really have a coat in the Summer but because Winter is obviously so much colder I needed one! It was £25 but quite good quality for what it's worth.

I haven't got pictures of this one but keep an eye on this blog because it will be starred in a new post.

The second item is a red berry jumper. I love this jumper. When I was shopping (with my mum) I saw it and for some reason imagined Zoella in this jumper with a cute collared top underneath and some jeggings or a skirt and tights, so I thought that it was easy to wear and it was in my basket! It's super soft and is a really pretty colour I think that I would sleep in this if I could! It's quite tight around the arms so next time I would get it in a size bigger so it wasn't as tight.

Make Up

I bought 3 make up items this month and I have been loving them all! I have done a post on these products and I will link it HERE

The first was my Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 19. It's a berry red wine colour and I think that it's very wearable. It was £5.49 which it the most expensive lipstick I own. I have done a mini review on the last post, so look on there if you want to find some more info.

The second lipstick I bought was from Collection 2000 and it's a nude pink colour. The shade is Satin Bow and it's apart of their volume sensation collection. It's a great lipstick and has a lovely consistency. The pigmentation is great because it's full of colour in hand swatches then sheer-er on the lips.

The 3rd make up product I bought was a MAC eye shadow in Satin Taupe. I love this colour so much and was persuaded to buy it because Tanya Burr is always using it in her video's. The pigmentation is amazing and the colour itself is a warm brown with a hint of shimmer because it's a frost. This was also in my mini haul and there is more info in that post.

Hair

I have been using a few products on my hair recently because the cold air damages it plus my hair is quite dry even in the Summer. The product I have been using almost everyday is the L'Oreal Elvive Leave In Conditioner Spray With Full Restore (5). It's a bit of a mouthful but hopefully you get the idea, that it's a leave in conditioner and it has restoring qualities. I have used this all month and I can defiantly see a difference in my hair. What's great about this, is that you can use it on dry or wet hair. It's a conditioner so it's meant to condition the hair and get rid of the grease so this is a great all-rounder!

That's it for today I hope you enjoyed this post, sorry that I didn't post yesterday or the day before but I was busier than I thought I was!

Hugs and kisses
