Mini Haul :)

Heey,

So I just wanted to do a mini haul on some things I bought recently, I can't take picture of them because my camera's horrid and turns everything yellow and my dad's iPad is out of battery so I have to get the pictures from the internet :L

This week I ended up going shopping 4 day's in a row but it was mainly for Christmas present's because I'm getting ahead of the game this year ;) I can't show you all of the things but I can show you a few.

LUSH

I bought one thing from LUSH because I don't think it's a waste of money but I didn't want to spend all of my money on me because it was for presents. But I did get The Snowman and I love it so much!

The Snowman is £2.50 which I think is good value for money! I tried it out in the small basin they have in store and it looked and smelt amazing! It's nicely perfumed with just the right amount so it isn't too overpowering! When it was put in the water it fizzed away quite quickly and made the water an orange-y colour but it didn't look like pee (?), I think that it also has somethings like popping candy inside but i'll have to get back to you on that!

Boots

In boots I got a few things, I'll do the most exciting first,

Kate Moss lipstick in Shade 19

Sorry it's the best picture I could find!

I LOVE this colour so much! As you can see it's a very toned down berry colour but it's very wearable. I have heard so much hype about these lipsticks and, if I was honest, I don't think it's worth that much  hype. Don't get me wrong, it's a great lipstick, but it doesn't stay on for very long and can smudge. I will probably buy another one if I find one in a nice colour, but for now I might stick to MUA!

The other thing I bought is less exciting but still good, it's a Boots body spray in Ice Musk

You get 150ml for £2.00 but I went shopping with Amber and Zoe and we all wanted one, luckily, it was on a 3 for 2 offer which meant that it was cheaper for all of us and we paid £1.33 each! I love the scent of this because it reminds me of winter. Not Christmas, winter. There were other scents available, Ambs and Zoe both got 'Wild Strawberry' but there's also a Vanilla one, Lime, Mango etc.

MAC

I also went to MAC to purchase my second eye shadow in Satin Taupe

I love this eye shadow, it's a frost which gives a really nice finish. I bought this colour mainly because Tanya Burr recommended it, but I also think it's a really versatile colour! It's nice through the crease, on it's own on in the outer corners with a cream colour in the inner corners. I wouldn't use this for my brows because it's shimmery but I think that my next colour will either be Charcoal Brown or a lighter colour like Naked Lunch. It was quite expensive (£12.50) but I think that it's worth it!

That's all for today, please subscribe and comment what your favourite thing is from this haul!

Hugs and kisses

Things for the Future

Heey,

So this is a bit of a random post but it's full of things that don't really have a category.

This first thing is a good piece of news, I am on HALF TERMM (yayyyyyyy) this means that I can post more often and have the chance to start something new.

I want to start a new series called: Happy Days

In this series I will post once a month (near the end of the month) and say what day(s) made me really happy. I want to start this for both me and you. It will be great for you because you can get some tips on what to do when you're bored or have a day off where you don't really have anything to do. I want to start this personally because I think that in months to come when I might be having a bad day, I can look back and smile at the 'Happy Days' I had :)

Please comment if you like the sound of this, or if you would prefer another idea I had which was called 'In the future...' this will consist of me sharing my life stories. But ones that may not have gone so well so 'In the future' I will maybe change something or think before I do it (?).

The second thing is that I have hit over 750 page-views which is awesome! But I have an idea that I will do a Christmas giveaway and a 1000 page-views giveaway! So stay tuned for that! Please comment what you would like to win, it has to be under £10 because I'm not rich and can't afford everything. So yeah.. that's it really, I want to post every day this week but it's almost half way through the week and I haven't posted anything so that's not happened...

Anyway thank you for reading, subscribe if you would like to know when I blog :)

Marwell Adventures

Heey,

Recently I went to Marwell Zoo with my school and it was quite a fun experience that I would like to share with you all! Sorry I didn't have my camera to take pictures but Zoe had her iPhone and took loads so I will link her blog HERE where she will hopefully have some pictures up!

We got to school as normal and I cycled with Ambs and Zoe. We were aloud to wear mufti and I wore my Pink Jumper with jeggings and a cute top and accessorized with my fake converse.

We didn't get to explore much at the beginning, as we made our way to the science and learning center because unfortunately it was a school trip and we did have to learn something other than the smell of rhino poo!

We sat in a circle and I stupidly sat in front of the snake tank! I hate snakes! But it was OK because they were locked up and half asleep. In the learning center we watched a powerpoint on animal behavior and different study's that people have done over the years.

After that we did a mini experiment inside (still), about rats and there behavior. We had 2 female rats called Snowdrop and Daffodil that we had to look at every 30 seconds and write down what they were doing. It was OK but got a bit boring because my rat didn't move half the time.

After we did our 'practice' test we moved on to the bigger animals and studied Siamang Gibbon's which are a type of monkey, they were quite small and black, I thought they were really cute and were really calm. The study went on for about 10 minutes and it was OK but again, mine and Amber's monkey didn't do much!

After that we had lunch and played on the mini play park (like the 13-14 year olds we are) and it was really fun. Then we went back to the learning center and did a graph and all that jazz.

THEN the fun began, we ran away from our teacher at points to go and look at some animals, but we were at Marwell Zoo and what's the point of travelling for 1 hour if we aren't going to see anything! We ended up having a 10 meter ban ;) because our teacher got so 'disappointed' in us! One thing we did get to see was the Meerkats, which were our teachers favorites because we spent the longest there, we also saw the tigers, giraffes, leopard, cheetah and my personal fave, the Penguins!

The animals were really friendly and calm, the meerkats and penguins were so cute, I wanted to take one home with me! Overall the end of the day was the best! I bought 2 things from the gift shop, a leopard ruler and zebra pencil with the removable lead capsule type things!

Woodland Escape Lips and Eyes Set

Heey,

So this is just a quick review, I was really surprised to find out that this lip and eye set, was from Wilko (Wilkinson's)! I always forget I have this palette but I saw it the other day and put it in a more noticeable place in my makeup draw. I find that I only use things if I can see it?

This set is really good because it includes 2 lip glosses and 4 eye shadows. I think that it's name is really cool (Woodland Escape) because I think that the colours are really 'woodlandy'.

Over-view of the set

These are the lip glosses

Arm swatches
Packaging

As you can see from my swatches the colours are really pigmented, the glosses are super glossy and I think that I will be using this more often. My favourite eye look with this set is using the cream colour all over my lid, then the orange/brown on the second half of my lid, then taking my dark brown through the crease.

Just a reminder, I do have a review tab at the top, I put posts on there as well as the cheeky odd post, so always keep a look out on there.

Thanks for reading

My September faves!

Heey,

Sorry It's so LATE but here's my September faves! By the way sorry about the big picture of Born Lippy in Watermelon, just here, I can't see it on my draft :s

Make Up

I have been doing a sort of 'routine' in the morning and evening, I use my lip scrub from LUSH and then apply either my Baby Lips in the morning or my Born Lippy in Watermelon in the evening.

Popcorn Lip Scrub - LUSH
Snazzy close up

Born Lippy in Watermelon - The Body Shop

It smells amazing!

Baby Lips - Pink Punch

You get more, I was trying to be artistic....
Because my school doesn't let your wear make up, I go aganist the rules and wear my concealer I have been using from MUA, Cover and Conceal in shade Natural then putting my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder over the top!

Stay Matte Powder and MUA Cover and Conceal

A more random thing I have been doing is curling my lashes! As I said, I can't wear make up to school and my mascara is quite obvious so I curl my lashes to get the effect but it means that I'm not wearing make up!

Eyelash Curlers - 17

Fashion

Over all I have been wearing jumpers more often as England gets into the cold weather! I have been wearing my favoutite Pink jumper from New Look a lot but also a Rolling Stones Jumper from Divided (H&M)

I should be a photographer!
I style with leggings and ugg boots

Great picture there Liv!

Rolling Stones Jumper - H&M

It's a tiny bit over-sized

Some of my beads fell off :(

I have been wearing Fluffy socks to bed to keep my feet warm and I love them so much, I got these as a present but I think they were from Sainsburys (TU) I also wear my Primark joggers around the house.

The Pink Pair

Both of them

The Pink and Grey Pair

Primark Joggers - Turned up ends

They come to just under the knee

I wear my PJ top with them

Oh dear...not my fat thighs!

Food

I found Pop Tarts in my trip to London, I found them at Selfridges and they were £5 but I bought them anyway! I found them in my super market for a bit cheaper and have them as a snack or breakfast. Or I have mini Weetabix.

Pop Tarts - Chocotastic

Weetabix Crispy Minis - Chocolate Chip

My Mum has started Slimming World which means that my dinner time meals have been made healthier but every so often I have my favourite Pizza, from Ristorante,  I love the mozzarella one most!

Ristrante Pizza - Mozzarella (My fave)

I had a weird obsession with Quavers for the month of September because my Mum went to a 'Cash and Carry' Store (Macro) and bought a big box so I felt obliged to eat them... all...

Quavers - Cheese (they only come in one flavor :L)
Music

For some reason I like the SONG We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus, I don't like her though!
I also loved Icona Pop - I Love It
One Direction - Best Song Ever
Ed Sheeran - Wake Me Up
One Republic - Counting Stars
And Katy Perry - Roar

Random

I have been loving some really random things in September, I have been cycling to school and it keeps me fit so that's something I kind of enjoy because otherwise I wouldn't cycle!

I have loved reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I love this because J K Rowling is really comical in the way she writes and there are things that happen in the books that aren't in the films so I really like not knowing what happens next, even though I think I do!

My bed has been the hardest thing to leave in the morning since I started school because I have to make up at 6:30 for school and I just don't like doing that!

September is the start for school in England and I was actually really excited to see all of my friends again and even some new ones! But as the month went on, I have to say that my love for school has grown weaker because all of our teachers are threatening us with GCSE's and at the moment I'm not sure what I want to do, because there are so many career options that I want to take! A big part of me wants to become the new Zoella or Tanya Burr but I know that, that probably won't happen so I thought of something that I love, and that's Drama, I love Drama so much that I want to do it for the rest of my life! Which has encouraged me to want to be a drama teacher but I also find being an English teacher appealing! If any of you have chosen your options then please share in the comments what you choose and why because I really don't know!

Sorry that last bit got a bit deep! I didn't plan that! Anyway, thanks for reading
