What to buy with £10

Heey,

It's coming up to half term which would normally mean shopping, going to the beach, hanging out with my friends and most importantly, sleeping. But no, the week after half term is exam week which means that only minimal shopping will be done and a lot of revising!
The average amount of pocket money the average teenager receives is £14 or something like that? Don't quote me on that, I may have seen it on 'Daybreak' one tired Tuesday morning. This means that £14 - cake sales at school and sour sweets from the corner shop and you have around £10 left for shopping at the weekend.

You won't be able to buy a whole outfit but you could buy a few beauty items or a piece of clothing that could count towards an outfit. I could easily spend about £30 on a single shopping trip but there were a few things I saw that you could get with less money. So here is: What to buy with £10

The first thing is something that I have bought myself, in Wilkinson's, they have some great deals and I saw a Simple Bath Cream that was £2 down to just £1! I have used it twice and I loved it both times, it creates a few bubbles but it makes the water very soft and makes your skin very smooth.

I went to Lush a while ago and I spent about £10 in there but then again I have a huge addiction to Lush and that was me on a good day! I would recommend getting the Bunny bubble bar. I bought this myself and I'm sure that it will be great in my bath however I'm almost scared to use it because it's an Easter product only and the smell is amazing. Bunny Bubble bar is £3.25

The next place that I would go would be Superdrug because it can be cheaper than boots so to be able to make the most out of your money is to go to the cheapest place, I would probably buy a maybelline  nail polish. I have heard that they're really good and with 2 coats, they're completely opaque and good quality. I would buy a summer colour like Coral Crush for £2.99. It's a lovely coral colour which is bang on trend for Spring/Summer 2014.

You now have £2.76 left and you could take this to a corner shop or WHSmith to buy a magazine to read in the bath later or on the bus home. I have been loving Company magazine especially since the March/April cover girl was Zoella (Zoe Sugg). You do often get a free gift with your magazine and last month it was a free mascara which turned out to be pretty good! Company magazine is £2.30 which is a great price and this takes you up the to budget with 46p left which you can save for next week.

I hope that gave you an idea of what to spend next weekend when you go shopping with your friends.  If you liked this post then comment if you think I should do a what to buy with £15 or £20?

Hugs and kisses
Liv xoxo

Spring/Summer Wish List

Heey,

In England the weather is getting nicer by the minute and I'm itching to go to the beach wearing a floral play-suit and pastel nails. So in true beauty blogger style, I thought it would be appropriate to do Spring/Summer Wish List.

This year I am trying to get more into fashion and less into make - up because I have enough for me at the moment and I can't wear make up everyday so it just seems like a waste to keep adding to my collection when things won't get used and I'm going to have to throw away some barely touched products! It just seems a waste, however I'm not going to stop altogether, when I run out of foundation then I will buy a new one because I need it, not just because it was on a good deal.

I haven't always followed the trends and I don't think I will unless I like it but this year there are a few trends this year that I do like; for example, pastels. I'm really loving  pastel nail vanish and clothes. My wardrobe is pretty boring with not many interesting colours so pastel shorts will defiantly be on my Summer wishlist.

Another trend is 'Aztec prints' and I have already joined the bandwagon by purchasing a beautiful Aztec bikini from Primark. It's so nice and I think it's going to be a seed of my obsession. Next on my wishlist I think will be some kind of Aztec crop top.

Floral! Spring/Summer is all about the floral patterns. Last year it was flower crowns and this year it's flowers everywhere, not just on your head! I have a floral skirt already but I really want to expand my collection with this floral double layer cami.

I also want to read more books this summer and I already have 2 at hand to read, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and Paper Towns by John Green. I really want to read You're The One That I Want by Giovanna Fletcher. Her husband Tom Fletcher is the lead singer of McFly and his sister is Carry Hope Fletcher who (as well as Tom) has a YouTube channel, I love all 3 of them so I can't wait to read Gio's, new book.

Thank you for reading, tell me in the comments what you want this Summer!

Hugs and kisses,
Liv xoxo
