It's coming up to half term which would normally mean shopping, going to the beach, hanging out with my friends and most importantly, sleeping. But no, the week after half term is exam week which means that only minimal shopping will be done and a lot of revising!
The average amount of pocket money the average teenager receives is £14 or something like that? Don't quote me on that, I may have seen it on 'Daybreak' one tired Tuesday morning. This means that £14 - cake sales at school and sour sweets from the corner shop and you have around £10 left for shopping at the weekend.
You won't be able to buy a whole outfit but you could buy a few beauty items or a piece of clothing that could count towards an outfit. I could easily spend about £30 on a single shopping trip but there were a few things I saw that you could get with less money. So here is: What to buy with £10
The first thing is something that I have bought myself, in Wilkinson's, they have some great deals and I saw a Simple Bath Cream that was £2 down to just £1! I have used it twice and I loved it both times, it creates a few bubbles but it makes the water very soft and makes your skin very smooth.
I went to Lush a while ago and I spent about £10 in there but then again I have a huge addiction to Lush and that was me on a good day! I would recommend getting the Bunny bubble bar. I bought this myself and I'm sure that it will be great in my bath however I'm almost scared to use it because it's an Easter product only and the smell is amazing. Bunny Bubble bar is £3.25
The next place that I would go would be Superdrug because it can be cheaper than boots so to be able to make the most out of your money is to go to the cheapest place, I would probably buy a maybelline nail polish. I have heard that they're really good and with 2 coats, they're completely opaque and good quality. I would buy a summer colour like Coral Crush for £2.99. It's a lovely coral colour which is bang on trend for Spring/Summer 2014.
You now have £2.76 left and you could take this to a corner shop or WHSmith to buy a magazine to read in the bath later or on the bus home. I have been loving Company magazine especially since the March/April cover girl was Zoella (Zoe Sugg). You do often get a free gift with your magazine and last month it was a free mascara which turned out to be pretty good! Company magazine is £2.30 which is a great price and this takes you up the to budget with 46p left which you can save for next week.
I hope that gave you an idea of what to spend next weekend when you go shopping with your friends. If you liked this post then comment if you think I should do a what to buy with £15 or £20?
Hugs and kisses
Liv xoxo
