Summer Make-Up ♥

Heey,

As promised, here is my quick, easy and simple Summer make up.

First I start with my moisturizer and apply a thin layer to my skin. As I wait for that to sink in I use my Simple eye roll on, under my eyes to reduce my under eye circles and the coolness of the roller ball really wakes me up. Then I move onto my 'One Touch Spot Stick' (which I mentioned in a previous post HERE) and apply that to my biggest blemishes.

After my morning skincare is complete I move onto my actual make up. As I said in my Summer post, I have been wearing less make up than usual to make my skin as clean as possible. I have been loving the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer under my eyes and around my nose, spots and anywhere that I want to conceal. It's very high coverage and easy to blend, making it a great all-rounder. I blend that in using a 'Real Techniques - Deluxe Crease Brush'.

Next I move onto eyes, which is important to do before powdering so that if there is any fall-down then it's easier to clean up/wipe away on just concealer than having to almost completely remove the concealer and powder.
I normally use an eye-base before applying eye shadow because it keeps the make up on for longer and brightens my eye as well. I use the No.7 Eye Base and use my finger to apply over the lid.
I like to use neutral eye shadows so I normally go for this nice creamy pink colour over the lid and a darker brown colour through the crease to define my eyes. The palette I use comes with 28 colours, all very wearable and easy to use. I think it is the German version of Zoeva because I did see the Zoeva palette in Zoella's Make Up Collection & Storage video and it is exactly the same!

Today I used 1 all over my lid and 2 in my crease, blended with No.7 Eye shadow Blend & Contour brush

After curling my eyelashes with the 17 eyelash curlers, I use my L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara. This mascara was a recent purchase that I didn't really rate at first but when I have got used to it now and have been loving it. It isn't so great when my lashes aren't curled but when they are, it's makes them look amazing.

Going back to skin, I use the Rimmel 'Stay Matte' powder which is a product that every beauty blogger raves about. I did buy this a while ago and LOVED it but unfortunately smashed one day so I had to say goodbye to my Stay Matte powder and tried out some other ones before deciding to re-purchase it. I use a 'Real Techniques Multi-Task Brush'.

My final step is lips and I have been loving the Clinique Chubby Stick in '06 Woppin' Watermelon'. I got this sample size as a free-be in Glamour Magazine this month and have been using it virtually everyday since getting it. It moisturizes my lips and makes them look less chapped than they actually are. The colour is cute and I will be buying a full sized one when mine runs out!

Then that's it! At a final look in the mirror I am ready for the day. I hope you enjoyed this post, I haven't really done anything like this before, so this is defiantly out of my comfort zone. Please follow my blog for a new post very soon.

Hugs and kisses
Liv xoxo
